AYSO Region 630 Referee Plan
Fall Season, 2014 (U10-U14) – Please visit www.ayso11l.org for U16/19 Information
Points System (Mandatory 12 Points)
Every team must accumulate at least 12 points during the Fall Season in order to be eligible for the Playoffs. This includes upper division teams. Each game officiated is counted as 1 point with both Center and AR positions the same. The new “Matchtrak” system allows every Referee to credit each game they sign up for to the exact team they wish. Use the dropdown menu to the right. Please note that ONLY REGION 630 GAMES count towards this point total. You are welcome to do out of Region games but they do not count toward points.
Gift cards will be distributed to Region 630 Referees that go above and beyond the call of duty this Fall. We will announce further details as the season unfolds.
Region 630 games have not been loaded into the new Matchtrak system as of 9/3/14. We are awaiting word that they live in the system. Email to follow as soon as they are in. Upper division games (U16/19) and Extra games are already live in MatchTrak. Extra and Upper Division games are reserved for experienced Referees with proper badge level and competence. See www.AYSO630.org for more information and a link to the sign up site.
U7 and U8 games are non-competitive matches. Please email email@example.com for U7/U8 guidelines.
U14 Games in Region 630
The Region 630 Board has approved Free Substitution for all U14 games played within Region 630. Coaches may sub at any stoppage in play with the Referee’s permission. Subs are per FIFA LOTG.
Update to be provided via email. If you are not receiving emails from “AYSO Region 630 Referee Program”, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the email list.
Your Own Kid’s Games
Please do not sign up for your own kid’s games (U10-U19). If the game is open 48 hours prior to the kick off, you may sign up to Center or AR your own child’s match (we will follow Area 11L on this issue). Thursday at 9pm becomes the “in jeopardy of cancelation” time for all Saturday games.
Coach, Parent, and Spectator Policy
The AYSO Referee Staff will be enforcing a ZERO TOLERACE POLICY for coach, parent, and spectator behavior that is contrary to AYSO’s philosophy. All adults are expected to set a positive example for the kids. Referees are PARENT VOLUNTEERS and should be treated respectfully.
