What is expected from coaches and spectators?

Coach-Spectator Behavior Guidelines

AYSO strives to create a safe environment for all players and volunteers.  Failure to adhere to these guidelines may adversely affect a team's ability to participate in post-season activities and tournaments. 

Region 630 Teams from the 10U, 12U, and 14U divisions, in ‘good standing’ may be invited to participate in a regional postseason tournament – The Region 630 Invitational Tournament. Teams participating in the Region 630 Invitational Tournament could represent Region 630 at other postseason tournaments. Teams may be reviewed on categories/factors such as:

Team/Players

  • Overall Sportsmanship
  • No Cautions/No Send Offs received

Coaches:

  • Proper certification (i.e. Risk Management Status, Safe Sport Status, proper Coach and AYSO required certifications, etc.)
  • Player evaluations completed and returned on-time as requested by Division/Program Coordinator, Coach Admin, Regional Commissioner
  • Avoiding match blowouts, 1st blowout receives a warning, 2nd blowout must attend a hearing with the division coordinator and the RCA
  • Following of Regional guidelines  (i.e. 3/4 play rule, no dogs/pets at matches/practice, coach/player ID cards, players safety, Silent Weekend, etc.)
  • No Coaching Staff Cautions/Ejections received
  • Adhering to and embodying the AYSO Philosophies (i.e. Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development, etc.)
  • Unwiling to control sideline, referees will issue up to two warnings, 2nd warning issues a caution
  • When a coach receives a caution, automatic one game suspension, a send off is an automatic two game suspension

Parents:

  • Participating within the region as a Volunteer (i.e. Concession Stand, Picture Day, In-Person Registration Event, Meet the Team Day, Field Marshall, etc.)
  • Volunteering as a referee
  • Number of Region Volunteer Points earned
  • No Spectator Cautions/Ejections received, a caution is an automatic one game suspension, a send off is an automatic two game suspension
  • Adhering to the and embodying the AYSO Philosophies (i.e. Good Sportsmanship, etc.)

Participation in the Regional Invitational Tournament does not automatically guarantee or qualify a team (regardless of its final Regional or Tournament Standings - win/loss record) admittance to or participation in, events/tournament beyond/outside of this Regional Invitational Tournament.  Participation in events/tournaments beyond/outside of this Regional Invitational Tournament, are by INVITATION of those events/tournaments only.

Where do I find my line up cards?

From your team page

1.     Click on Roster
2.     Click on Edit Roster on the right side to enter jersey numbers
3.     Once done, click on Update at the bottom
4.     Click on Print Roster for your roster
5.     Click on Print Team Line Up for your line-up cards.
