ALL STARS

General Information

The All Stars program is by INVITATION ONLY.  Players from the previous Fall Season are nominated by their Fall Coach and approved by the Region's Board.  All Star coaches are recommended by the Fall Season Division Managers and approved by the Region's Board.  The Region's All Stars committee and selected All Stars coaches meet to select players from the All Stars listing of nominated players. Those selected to participate are issued invitations via Email or telephone, at which time they must register for the Region's All Stars program to accept their invitation.  The All Stars coach is required to select a certain number of players from each Fall season team, which is dependent on the number of teams fielded during the Fall season.

All Star nominations should be viewed as an honor and your child should be proud of this achievement. They were nominated and selected because their coach viewed them as a great athlete and team player.

The All Stars program is run by AYSO Area 11L, and not the local Region.  All Stars teams play other All Stars teams from the local Regions that make up Area 11L, which is all of Southern Orange Co.  All Stars teams are subject to the rules and policies established by Area 11L.  More information can be found by visiting the Area 11L website under the Programs tab.

However, if a team continues to win, that team will be invited to play in the Section 11 All Stars tournament, (typically played in February) and if the team wins that tournament there is a possibility of a final tournament in March (typically) to determine the State All Stars champion. Players should be willing to commit to all possible games and tournaments.
